Skincare Routine ft. Éminence

At work we use the organic Hungarian skincare brand called Éminence. They contain no harmful chemicals or additives and are locally grown and handmade in Budapest, Hungary. Each and every product smells absolutely amazing and help skin concerns such as ageing, wrinkling, blemishes, loss of vitality, tone and radiance. I've slowly been buying Éminence products for my skincare routine because when I use them on clients in an hour facial I can already see their skin change! I have normal/combination skin and I found the following products to have worked the best so far for my skin type.

The first product I bought is the Blueberry Soy Exfoliating Cleanser. Although it is says it's for normal to dry skin types I find these works perfectly! I use about half a pump to wash my face in the shower and then I leave it on for a couple of minutes to allow the natural exfoliating AHAs to work their magic. After I've washed it off my skin feels really smooth and polished. I've also been very self-conscious about the pores on my nose but the blueberries (which are healing) and soy (which are soothing) combine together to tighten pores! I noticed within a week of using this cleanser that my skin was much smoother and more radiant.

The next few products I use were actually samples (best thing ever invented!!). My manager gave me the Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum which sadly I'm almost out of. I apply about 4 drops every 2-3 nights after spraying on my toner (which isn't from Éminence). It creates a really fresh glow from the botanical hyaluronic acid and vitamin-rich strawberries and rhubarb.

The next product is also a sample (yay!) and is the Wild Plum Eye Cream. If you watch my makeup tutorials on my Youtube channel you may know that I have inherited the dark under eye circles from my Dad and really struggle hiding them. But since using this eye cream the darkness has definitely started to disappear! The eye cream contains vitamin K which re-engergises and brightens the eye area and wild yam and marigold also minimise the appearance of ageing. I take a rice grain amount on my ring fingers and start on the outer corner of my eye and gently pat it inwards and also up into the inner corners of my eyes. Then I bring it up onto my eye lid and continue patting it until it is soaked in.

Last but not least is the Sugar Plum Oil-Free Revitalizer. This quickly became my favourite skincare product that I've ever used! This moisturiser is perfect for oily, combination and normal skin types and as the name says, is oil free! A must-have skincare product for the summer! It still hydrates the skin while minimising oiliness. It's the perfect base before applying makeup because it leaves my skin very smooth and velvety while still having a matte finish.

I don't have my full skincare routine right down to Éminence yet because I want to use up the products I already have but I can't wait to use more products! Click here to find where your closest spa is that stocks Éminence skincare.

Rimmel Provocalips Lip Colours

I've been LOVING the Rimmel Provocalips 16hr Kiss Proof Lip Colours so I made a video all about it and it was easier to show the swatches of the 8 amazing colours on here.
L - R:
- 230 Kiss Fatal
- 550 Play With Fire
- 500 Kiss Me You Fool
- 730 Make Your Move
- 700 Skinny Dipping
- 310 Little Minx
- 200 I'll Call You
- 110 Dare To Pink

To apply, use the colour end of the stick and apply the colour to your lips. It's so smooth it glides on easily and make sure you keep your mouth open for about a minute until the colour has set. If you do close your lips, they'll feel really sticky.

After 60 seconds, use the lock and shine end to make your lips shiny and smooth to create the perfect finish. The colour will last literally all day and easily comes off with makeup remover (I used the Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye and Lip Makeup Remover).

Stila In The Light Palette

Yes, I finally bought it! The Stila In The Light palette, and I'm in love! It comes with 10 eyeshadows and also a Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Damsel. I did a little research and found that the eyeliner itself is worth $26 and the whole palette was $52 so I think it's pretty good value. The eyeliner is reallllly creamy and is completely smudgeproof, perfect for using in the waterline. I've used at least one of the eyeshadows everyday since I bought it because it's suitable for day or night time makeup. The eyeshadows blend easily and are really pigmented. They are all perfect for every skin tone and suitable for any eye colour.

The eyeshadows included are:
Bare - matte ivory
Kitten - shimmery nude pink
Bliss - matte beige pink (my favourite from the whole palette!)
Sunset - shimmery pink
Sandstone - matte chocolate brown
Bubbly - pale gold shimmer
Gilded Gold - shimmery golden brown
Luster - dark aubergine with gold shimmer
Night Sky - shimmery blue
Ebony - black

You will definitely see this feature in my future Youtube videos!

Mini MAC Haul

Unfortunately there aren't any MAC counters where I live so whenever I go into the city I always stock up on products. This is probably the most MAC things I've bought in one go because they are so expensive in Australia but I don't regret it at all!
I was in search for a matte eyeshadow so I asked the lovely MAC lady which one was the most popular and best for my eye colour and she recommended "Espresso". I've heard so much about this colour and I can see where all of the hype is coming from. I use it in the crease and slightly on my lid and my eyes look ten times more blue! It's perfect to wear to wear on a daily basis, especially when I go to work because we have to work visible makeup but if I want a more natural look it's perfect to use as a liner. It's perfectly matte and can be intensified for a smokey brown look.

I have a couple of eye kohls which I absolutely love so I decided to buy another one. I decided on "Costa Riche" which is perfect for cut creases blended out and smudged liner. It's also amazing to apply it to the lid and then smudge it all out to look like an eyeshadow.
The final thing I bought is the one I'm most excited about the "Pink Pearl Pop" lipstick. It's one of the creme sheen lipsticks and feels really smooth and moisturising on the lips. It lasts about 3-5 hours and the pigmentation is still really good after that time. The bright shimmery light pink shade is perfect for the spring and summer time.

A Post For Zoe Sugg

She has over 50,000 people following her blog, 6 million subscribers on Youtube, 2 million followers on Twitter and 3 million followers on Instagram. Zoe Sugg (commonly known as Zoella) is one of the most successful social media Queens ever!

I first saw Zoe's videos one December night in 2012 when I felt really homesick after being in England for 4 weeks and still having another 2 before I went home. Being the 17-year-old I was, I was really intrigued and inspired when I watched Zoe light up my screen for the next few days while I binge-watched all of her videos. There was just something about her that I felt that I could connect with.

After suffering from quite bad social anxiety for 2 years, Zoe has given me the confidence to do things I could have never have imagined. I used to make up excuses so I didn't have to go to parties or outings with friends and family and just coop myself up in my room and feel awful for the rest of the day. It was definitely the worst time of my life, until I found Zoe.

Every time I see that she has posted a new video or blog post, a smile instantly forms on my face. She is the most beautiful, hilarious and inspiring person I know. Although I haven't met her personally or spoken to her over social media I feel like I know her so well and that her videos will always be there for me when I'm down.

After umm-ing and ahh-ing for ages I finally gained the confidence to start making Youtube videos after seeing how far Zoe has come since starting. Although I don't have many subscribers, I am so shocked by the support I've had and the few friends I have made around the world. I am still the person I was but just with more confidence, and so is Zoe.

Unfortunately some people aren't quite on the same wavelength as most social media users out there. Some people think it's ok to tell people they are "spoiled brats" and "don't give back to their subscribers" and I have seen some of these horrible comments on not just Zoe's posts and videos but so many others. I live by the motto "Don't say anything if you don't have anything nice to say" and really hope more and more people follow it. Yes, it is their opinion but no one ever wants to read that about themselves or other people, it just brings down their mood and may completely ruin their day.

Zoe deserves none of that horrible talk and I really hope she continues to grow in social media rankings. She recently launched her very own beauty line which I am absolutely in love with (but unfortunately can't get my hands on because it doesn't ship to Australia!) and is releasing a book 'Girl Online' at the end of November. It's amazing how far someone can become just from starting a blog while suffering with something most people won't understand unless they have it.

I would like to thank Zoe so much for everything she has done even though she doesn't have a clue who I am and I will always support her in anything she does.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Range

The Wild Argan Oil range from the Body Shop is one of the newest range to hit the shelves in Australia, and I finally got my hands on them! From the Atlas Mountains in Morocco the argan nuts are hand-picked and hand-cracked to be infused into this amazing range. The oil is Community Fair Trade meaning it provides women in Morocco with a fair and regular income helping them take care of their families and live a better life. The argan oil is extra-nourishing for your skin and will leave it feeling soft and moisturised for hours.

The range includes: body scrub, shower gel, body lotion, body butter, radiant oil, bubble bath, solid oil, solid oil lip balm and even a loofah! Although I wanted to buy everything I'm on a bit of a budget and thought I'd only buy a few things to make sure I 100% loved the products. I eventually decided on three products.

Firstly, the shower gel. I'm always on the hunt for a shower gel that leaves the scent on my body after drying off and I finally found an amazing one! I pour a small amount onto my loofah and it lathers up really well and I'm ready to clean my body. You can use this in the bath as well which I haven't done yet so I'm super excited to try that!

Next is the body butter. My skin feels really soft and smooth hours after applying it. Since it is a body butter it keeps my pro-to-dryness areas of my body moisturised and they never feel dry now. After using other body butters I am finding this one is richer than the others.

Last but not least is my personal favourite, the Solid Lip Oil. I always apply this at night before I go to bed and I wake up the next morning with my lips feeling super soft. I've never had a lip balm that is this moisturising and long-lasting so this has quickly become one of my favourite products ever.

Have you tried the Wild Argan Oil range yet? What's your favourite product?

Pink Products | MAC, OPI, NYX, Real Techniques & Maybelline

So I was going through my makeup collection and noticed that I have quite a few pink products. When I'm smelling products before I buy them, especially lip products, I am always drawn to the strawberry and sweeter scents so obviously the packaging is pink so I have accumulated quite a bit of pink packaging.

First up is the Maybelline Colour Whisper in "Petal Rebel" and is definitely my most used lipstick! It's a lovely light pink shade and is perfect for the spring and summer time or to wear if you have a dramatic eye look and want a more natural lip so it isn't too "in-your-face".

The NYX Powder Blush in "Pinched" is definitely a dupe for NARS Orgasm blush. It has specks of gold shimmer and is a pink-peachy shade which is very pigmented so you hardly need to pick up any product. It gives a healthy looking glow and perfect for during the day and then I add more for the night time.

Next up is the Real Techniques Blush Brush. This brush is perfectly shaped to apply blush evenly onto the cheeks. It has synthetic bristles so they don't fray or go out of place. The bristles are really soft so it's easy to blend everything out and create a natural glow to my face.

The MAC Pink Venus Shadow is an amazing eyeshadow if I want to even out the colour of my eyelids and just have a bit of something on. It is not very pigmented so I do need to layer it quite a bit if I want a darker look but is definitely worth it. It has specks of shimmer in it which makes it very girly and cute to wear with some liquid liner and lots of mascara for a day look.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Lolita is one of my favourite lip balms ever! The baby lips range are so moisturising, smell amazing and subtly tints your lips. I have used about two or three tubes of the "Berry Brush" flavour so I thought I'd try another one a couple of weeks ago when I went into Priceline. They are so cheap but so good quality, best lip balm ever!

I am absolutely obsessed with OPI nail polishes so I obviously had to include some and my two favourites are Got a Date To-Knight and Strawberry Margarita. Got a Date To-Knight is a lovely baby pink shade which I use mostly for when I'm doing french manicures as it's quite sheer but if I'm using it by itself I need to put three coats in. OPI usually only needs two coats for all of their colours but this one unfortunately is much more sheer and watery than the others. I've been wearing Strawberry Margarita on my toe nails for about 6 weeks straight now because it is the perfect shade for my tootsies and because I wear thongs (flip flops) to work our toes always have to be nicely done. I only needed two coats of this and it lasts a really long time! I can't wait to use this on my finger nails during the summer because the colour just screams beach and sun to me!

Finally is the NYX Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait. I cannot explain how amazing these lip glosses are! They smell so delicious and last a long time on. Unlike some lip glosses they aren't sticky so they apply really smooth and hair doesn't get stuck in it. It has a creamy consistency and has a bit of colour in it which is perfect for during the day and I like to put a bit of lipstick underneath for the night time. Oh, and it also tastes great! I hate putting on lip glosses and then discovering that it tastes gross and I'm most likely not going to wear that one again but the butter glosses literally taste like they smell.

Rimmel: Lasting Finish Colour Rush Long Lasting Intense Colour Balm | Review & Swatches

Left to Right: 500 The Redder, the Better, 600 On Fire, 710 Drive Me Nude
Top to Bottom: 710 Drive Me Nude, 600 On Fire, 500 The Redder, the Better
So, the Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Long Lasting Intense Colour Balm (long enough name there?) are literally the best thing ever! Rimmel launched them as apart of the Rita Ora range and I now have three and can't wait to get the rest! They are so long lasting (as the name says), really pigmented and smell and taste pretty good.

These are so moisturising that I don't need to put on lip balm underneath which I do sometimes need to do with some lipsticks. Even after a good hour or two they still feel really creamy and the glide on so easily. They almost stain your lips as well so once the majority of the product has actually come off, there is still quite a bit of colour.

Unfortunately the colours in the photos aren't the exact colour of them in real life, my camera and lighting decided to go cray cray but the colour 500 The Redder the Better is much more of a red than an orange.

Rimmel is still making amazing lip products and are definitely my favourite from the drugstore. Have you tried these yet? Let me know in the comments and if there are any other lip products I need to try.

My Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick Collection

Colours left to right: 20, 09, 103, 107
The Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks are by far my favourite drugstore lipsticks, I think I almost prefer them over higher end brands, almost! They last so long, have awesome pigment and smell pretty good too. I've shown these in a couple of my Instagram posts before but I wanted to write this post because I've never fully explained how awesome they are!

Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss
20: If I ever want a bright pink lip, this is the lipstick I'll always choose. The colour is really bright and intense and perfect for nights out and during the spring and summer time. It feels really smooth on your lips and plenty of pigment. There's no shimmer but it's not matte.

09: This is my most recent lipstick purchase and can't wait to wear it more! It's quite similar to the matte 107 shade but not quite as dark and isn't matte. 09 is a blue-toned red shade and would compliment cool toned skins very well. The consistency is very creamy and smells amazing so you don't have to worry about people smelling weird smelling lipsticks (not that people would be smelling yours lips though? That came out weird!)

Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss
103: I just recently bought this shade and it's a really nice but different shade of pink. It's the most natural colour that I have out of the Rimmel lipsticks but still gives a nice pop of colour to your lips. I wear this to work quite a lot and the colour lasts a really long time. This shade would suit every skin tone because it's not too neutral but not too bright.

107: This was my first lipstick that was matte and I instantly fell in love! I bought it in the middle of autumn this year and it has definitely been my staple lipstick this winter. It's a beautiful plum/berry shade and the colour is really intense and dark if you wear a couple of layers which I find awesome for the night time but when I wear it during the day I only put one coat on. The only downside to this lipstick is that it can feel really dry on your lips so I usually put a bit of lip balm on underneath before putting it on.

What Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks are your favourites? Is there one that I need to try?

Review: Zoeva Luxe Prime Makeup Brush Set

It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and I had been eyeing off the brush sets on the Zoeva website and so I decided I wanted the Luxe Prime set because it had a pretty good mix of face and eye brushes. I'm so glad I got these brushes because they have literally changed the look of my makeup! I can't even begin to say how amazing the quality and softness of each brush is, the best brushes I've EVER had!

The brushes all came individually wrapped in the Large Brush Clutch so they were all in perfect condition after travelling from the factory in Germany. This may sound a bit weird but I am in love with the zips on the clutch! They are so smooth to open and close, it's amazing! I also love the pink interior and the Zoeva Colour. Love. Makeup. phrase below the inside zip. This is going to be so handy for when I go travelling to protect my brushes instead of throwing in my makeup bag.

Now for the actual brushes!

Face
101/Luxe Face Definer: use for contouring and applying powder. This brush collects the powder really well and doesn’t end up all over my desk.

102/Silk Finish: applies foundation really evenly and allows me to blend my foundation in really well into my hair line and neck. I haven’t seen any streaks of foundation yet which used to be quite a problem.

127/Luxe Sheer Cheek: this brush is meant to be for blush but I prefer to apply bronzer into the hollows of my cheeks. It fits perfectly in the hollows of my cheeks to give a really nice contoured look. I like to blend the bronzer up onto my cheek bones a bit to create a more natural look.

142/Concealer Buffer: apply and blend concealer. This brush is so smooth and never fails to apply my concealer evenly and blended.

Eyes
221/Luxe Soft Crease: perfect for blending eyeshadow from the lid into the crease. Holds the pigment of eyeshadows really well and doesn't give much fall out.

227/Luxe Soft Definer: smoothly and lightly blends eyeshadow from the lid into the crease for a delicate look.

224/Luxe Defined Crease: blends the eyeshadows in the crease really well to create a blended look instead of a definitive line across the crease.

231/Luxe Petit Crease: perfect for applying colour into the crease

234/Luxe Smoky Shader: holds eyeshadows amazingly to apply onto the lid, I hardly ever have to go back and pick up more eyeshadow!

317/Wing Liner: the most soft eyeliner brush ever! Previous I've had sort of hurt my eye because I can't get the liner/shadow on enough but I can hardly feel this on my eyelid!

I know I will definitely be getting more brushes from Zoeva and maybe so makeup as well! Does anyone recommend any makeup from there?
