Review: Dior Les Parfums de l'Avenue Montaigne Perfume Set

On the way back from Vanuatu I went Duty Free shopping and the Dior Les Parfums de l'Avenue Montaigne Perfume Set immediately caught my eye. I've never bought anything from Dior before so it was the perfect opportunity since I saved about $20 because of duty free. I love buying minis because it gives you time to decide whether you actually like the product or not without paying for a full size.

Left-Right: Miss Dior Eau Du Parfum, Diorissimo Eau De Toilette, J'Adore Eau Du Parfum, Forever and Ever Dior Eau De Toilette, Dior Addict Eau Fraiche.

Miss Dior Eau Du Parfum
When I first smelt this one I wasn't too sure but once I started to wear it I actually really started to like it! It smells quite classy and flirty and definitely lasts a long time. The notes are Italian mandarin, jasmine, patchouli and musk.

When I first smelt this I thought "wow that is so fresh!". It's very floral with notes ylang ylang, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley, which is Christian Dior's lucky flower. It does smell different when you have it on but still really amazing and fresh.

This isn't my favourite because it smells quite mature and isn't what I look/smell for in a perfume. It has floral notes of ylang ylang, Damask Rose and Sambac Jasmine. I do really like the bottle except it's the only perfume out of the five that isn't a spray bottle, making it quite hard to apply it evenly.

This is my favourite out of the five by far! It has a top note of Freesia and also Indian Jasmine and Bulgarian rose. It just smells sweet enough to be not too over-powering and is very feminine. It lasts a really long time on especially for Australian weather which is good because it's so hard to find perfumes that last throughout the day.

This one is quite tangy but with some noticeable floral notes. It has notes of grapefruit, Calabrian bergamont and then floral notes of Freesia and Lily-of-the-Valley. It ends with some woody notes blended with a white musk, the most musk I could probably take in a perfume.

I'm sure I will definitely purchase a full size of one of these perfumes but I'm not sure yet. Have you tried any of these perfumes before? If so, which one is your favourite?

Makeup Wish List 2015

So it's safe to say I LOVE makeup! I'm forever wishing to go to America to experience what shopping for makeup is really like in Sephora and other heavenly looking makeup stores. Australia is very unfortunate on the makeup front because there are so many brands that aren't available here. My makeup wish list is forever growing but here are my current products on that list.

Australis AC On Tour Kit (Yes this is available in Australia but it's always sold out!)
